This position involves diagnosing, managing, and treating patients’ hearing or balance problems using advanced technology and personalized care. Administer and interpret various tests to determine the nature and extent of hearing and balance disorders.
Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
Counsel and educate patients and their families on hearing health care including prevention, treatment options and strategies for communication.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic care.
Participate in community outreach programs to promote hearing health.
Maintain accurate patient records and use them to develop effective treatment plans.
Expertise in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid dispensation, and auditory rehabilitation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to counsel and advise patients effectively
Proficiency with audiology equipment and technology
