Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC), Vermont's largest community hospital, is seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our dedicated healthcare team. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients' hearing and balance problems using advanced technology and a patient-centered approach. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in audiology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a community hospital setting.
Assess and diagnose hearing and balance disorders using various testing procedures.
Develop and implement treatment plans for hearing impairments and tinnitus.
Counsel patients and their families on hearing health and the use of hearing aids and other assistive devices.
Maintain patient records and document patient care services.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate holistic care.
Stay current with advances in audiology practice and technology.
Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software for audiology
Expertise in hearing aids and auditory devices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to explain complex medical information to non-specialists
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Current State Licensure in Audiology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
